Miu Miu launches its latest Upcycled collection bridging the gap between past and present with a campaign featuring actress and singer Suki Waterhouse. Captured by Alasdair McLellan, art directed by Christopher Simmonds and styled by Lotta Volkova, the collection is a focus on Miu Miu’s extensive archival catalogue, renewing key pieces for the modern woman.
Beginning with a classic white cotton shirt and khaki chinos, stripped apart and reconstructed, the collection takes rare vintage finds from around the globe and completely rewrites their story. Classic silhouettes are remixed, some oversized and some cropped, entirely changing their designs. Shirts become dresses, trousers turn into jackets, and utilitarian pieces are elevated with signature aged leather collars, crystal florals, and playful bows. Even accessories, like the Plume sneaker have been given a custom upgrade with unique charms.
By celebrating every mark of time and finishing each piece by hand, Miu Miu ensures that every single piece is entirely one of a kind.
