10 loves: THE LOUIS VUITTON DOLOMITES CLASSIC RUN 2026

Celebrating “The Art of Travel“, Louis Vuitton is bringing its classic racing competition back to Italy. From September 1st to 4th 2026, collectors from all over the world will showcase their most extraordinary vintage cars starting in Venice, driving through the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Dolomites, and ending in Monza at the opening ceremony of the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix.

With its 600km journey through the scenic mountain passes and the Adriatic coastline, the house supports the preservation of arts and cultural heritage by collaborating with renowned Italian cultural institutions such as the Reggia de Monza, Milan’s Catello Sforzesco, Villa Pisani in Stra and the MUVE museum in Venice.

Since Louis Vuitton’s first car trunk created by Georges Vuitton in 1897, the brand has been renowned for combining luxury craftsmanship and road travel. From its first Classic Run through Malaysia in 1993 to its now long-standing partnership with Formula One, Louis Vuitton being the title sponsor of the iconic Formula One Grand Prix de Monaco, automobiles have played a significant part in the Maison’s heritage.

Louis Vuitton trunks have protected some of the world’s most prestigious sports trophies, expressing its principle “Victory travels in Louis Vuitton“. These included the most recent FIFA World Cup trophy presented by global LV ambassadors, tennis prodigy Carlos Alcaraz and actress Jung Hoyeon. By bringing back their Classic Run, the Maison extends its savoir-faire further into the realm of high-class sporting events.
