It was only a matter of time before German photographer Christopher Puttins travelled to West Africa to meet his friend and creative collaborator, makeup artist Maria Ehrlich to shoot a love letter to Ghana. Inspired by Ehrlich’s images of Accra’s bustling market and the country’s enviable coastline, the resulting images dance between travelogue and fashion editorial, while poetically encapsulating the beauty and warmth of both the land and the people they met on their travels.
