MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon continue their ongoing partnership, which first began in late 2022, with a Spring/Summer 2026 collaboration that leans heavily into hybridisation. The capsule collection merges Salomon’s gritty, outdoor roots with MM6’s signature distorted, conceptual aesthetic. Designed for a demographic that moves fluidly between rugged mountain trails and city concrete, the collection delivers five sneaker variants in the XT-MM6 and CROSS DUST silhouettes, alongside an updated XT-15 hiking backpack.
Originating from Salomon’s performance oriented ‘CROSS’ family and built upon the high-traction Speedcross sole, the CROSS DUST strips away the busy overlays of typical trail runners. Instead, the entire upper is enveloped in a sleek, minimalist textile shroud – much like an MM6 dust bag, that snugly encases the foot and completely conceals the signature Quicklace™ system underneath, while also doubling as a protective barrier from trail debris. The futuristic model is available in a stark, monochromatic ‘Triple Black’ and a softer, earth toned ‘Vanilla Ice/Eucalyptus.’
For those who prefer a traditional silhouette, the brand’s classic X-T6 trail runner has been updated for city life in the form of the XT-MM6, back again this season in new colourways: ‘Sunny Lime/Black,’ ‘Black/Asphalt,’ and ‘Asparagus Green/Gull,’ a softer, gorpcore-centric muted green accented by a pop of sky blue tracing the mudguard.
Completing the capsule is the return of the XT-15 Hiking Backpack. Re-engineered with enhanced ergonomics and breathable back panelling. In true Margiela fashion, it comes equipped with a stark, contrasting white rain cover stamped with the dual-branded numeric calendar logo.
