DANIELA MULLER-BRUNKE CAPTURES PIECES FROM NEWLY FOUNDED BERLIN-BASED FASHION ARCHIVE THE C.A.B.

“Nina Lemm the prop stylist and I have worked together before, “ explains photographer Daniela Muller-Brunke. “So when the opportunity arose to do a shoot with these pieces of modern and mid-century furniture I started working on a concept.

Muller Brunke wanted to celebrate the durability of generation-spanning, classic pieces of furniture and decided to combine these with timeless pieces of clothing. Enter The Curated Archive Berlin (C.A.B.), a wardrobe archive rental developed to support creatives across fashion, advertising, music, film and tv productions.

The C.A.B. founders cite ean Paul Gaultier and Vivienne Westwood as designers they admire for their “boldness, irreverence and ability to challenge conventions,” but stress that the archive is solely about big fashion names.Vintage pieces and smaller or lesser-known brands are of equal importance:“what matters to us is first and foremost the design, the quality and the character of a piece.” Celebrating iconic fashion, unexpected finds and contemporary styling is very much at the heart of the new enterprise.
