UGG, PALACE AND WARNER BROS. LINK UP FOR A LOONEY TUNES COLLAB

Suffering succotash! British streetwear label Palace and California-based lifestyle brand Ugg are dropping another collab. And for this partnership they’re bringing Warner Bros. along for the ride.

Cosying up for a fourth time, the brands have taken the Ultra Mini and Tasman – and given them the Tweety and Sylvester treatment, by adding multilayered embroidery of classic Looney Tunes characters to the UGG’s iconic silhouettes. The pieces are available in chestnut, yellow, and black, and feature a relentless chase among clouds and the Palace logo, between the two loveable characters.
And that’s not all folks. For the second time the brands have added apparel to their offering including a hood, jogger, T-shirt and Varsity jacket in a variety of colourways, all emblazoned with the hapless cat and his arch-nemesis.

And you tawt that was it? As collabs go, this partnering is pretty iconic: the accompanying campaign features artist and Palace skateboarder Alexandrino Ferreira Da Silva, British singer and DJ Shygirl and the character Sylvester. Directed by long-term Palace collaborator Adam Toddhunter and set in a fictional hotel, the video and accompanying imagery follows a madcap adventure through classic tropes of corridor mazes in cartoons and film. Mashed up with quick cuts and special effects, the visuals are  based on a story line imagining Da Silva’s fever dream encounter of Palace and Uggs.

The collection will be available from December 5 online at PalaceSkateboards.com, at select Palace stores in London, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Seoul, and Dover Street Market Concessions. Additionally, styles will be available at 1-day retail pop-ups in Shanghai, Berlin, and Chicago.
