Last week, Valentino<\/a> Garavani gave its beloved DeVain bag the artist\u2019s touch<\/a>. Enlisting five artists to experiment with the visual language of the shoulder bag \u2013 launched as part of Alessandro Michele<\/a>\u2019s pre-fall 2025 collection \u2013, Thomas Albdorf,<\/a> Enter The Void, Paul Octavious<\/a>, Albert Planella<\/a> and Tina Tona<\/a> each rewrote its identity through their own eyes. Now comes the second iteration of the digital creative project, with four additional artists from around the world each shaping a new narrative of the DeVain.<\/span><\/p>\n

First up, Animus Pax<\/a>, an anonymous multi-media artist whose work often blurs the boundaries between introspection and visual storytelling. Pax places the DeVain in a stop-motion film, bringing the bag to life from static frame to static frame and providing its texture, shape and personality with a flower-spangled backdrop.<\/span><\/p>\n

Annie Collinge<\/a> slips into the dream world with her bright, absurdist tableaus. A London-based photographer and artist, Collinge builds a paper cut-out universe where the bag sits somewhere between reality and imagination with a childlike flair that\u2019s anything but childish.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist Total Emotional Awareness<\/a> \u2013 real name Christopher Royal King \u2013 serves up the DeVain with a pop-surreal charge. In his world, geometries expand and multiply, as if the bag had stepped into a new dimension where human forms bend, bloom and dissolve all at once. It\u2019s cinematic, speculative and boldly uncontained.<\/span><\/p>\n

And then there\u2019s Z_Captures<\/a> (also known as Zeren Badar), who fuses fantasy with the playfulness of pop culture to frame the DeVain in stark, vivid contrast with a sky blue backdrop. Multicoloured spheres become surreal companions \u2013 a clash of colour, irony and energy that makes the clutch feel electric, almost mischievous.<\/span><\/p>\n

This second release continues Valentino Garavani\u2019s creative exploration through the digital lens \u2013 four artists, four worlds, one bag in constant reinvention. The DeVain moves, morphs, dreams, refracts. Always itself, always an icon \u2013 never the same twice.<\/span><\/p>\n
