This editorial is the first location project from 10 DE’s Lena Lauer and photographer, Szymon Stepniak.<\/p>\n

Inspired by a Vivienne Westwood quote: \u201cI don\u2019t want to be a person who just stands in the background. I want to be the one who creates the backdrop,\u201d the creatives ( who had previously worked on a studio piece) \u00a0deduced that this next collaboration should venture outside,<\/p>\n

The title is a wordplay that examines different layers within the images and questions what constitutes the background and what constitutes the focal point of the picture?<\/p>\n

The pair integrated different backgrounds and backdrops normally used in studio settings into the picture, elevating them from passive elements to active subjects in the composition.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
