Happy coincidences brought the team behind \u201cDon\u2019t Make Me Wait\u201d, our first AW26 online shoot, together. Callsheet connections and a shared excitement to capture Liilie for one of her first editorials, being just two examples.<\/span><\/p>\n

The shoot is loosely based around waiting and anticipation;\u00a0 the resulting shoot explores the idea of being ready and having to bide your time. \u201cLike outside a club or even waiting for a date,\u201d explains stylist Lucia Heath.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe fashion was inspired by some of the most exciting looks and persons I\u2019ve recently seen out and about,\u201d Heath explains. \u201c At bus stops, venues, on coffee breaks and behind-the-scenes on shoots. Fits that wouldn\u2019t look out of place at the time of the birth of hip hop.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Photographer Craig Gibson’s images suggest anticipation and time passing, while the model, Lillie, is ready to move forward. \u201cUltimately, it\u2019s about refusing to wait for the perfect moment,\u201d he explains. \u201cAnd creating something from the moment you\u2019re given.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
