“Saskia and I have worked together on many projects over the years and have become close friends” explains photographer Nina Raasch. “When the opportunity to shoot for 10 came up, we were really excited to create something together with so much creative freedom.”
The result is As the Wind Turns, a shoot full of lightness and quiet confidence, inspired by a windy day in Paris. “ We wanted to embrace the elements rather than fight them,” explains Raasch.”Allowing the wind to shape the images naturally.”
Flowing fabrics, oversized silhouettes, and lightweight materials allowed the wind to become part of the styling, giving each look its own character while creating a sense of ease throughout the story. “Rather than directing every detail, we embraced those spontaneous moments,” explained Raasch. “And I think that’s what gives the editorial its energy and authenticity.”
